A. Current Position: -
(i)Politically—an economic war between the US & China (tariffs, Make America Great Again & the Chinese Belt & Road)
(ii)Economically---quantitative easing (increasing the money supply) by the US, Europe & UK governments from 2008 to 2022 has produced inflation & led to the current world " cost of living " crisis we have today.
This has been made worse by the cost of labour(wages) & social welfare payments not increasing by anywhere near as much as the cost of goods & services (capital & profits).
Private investors have also benefited from record house prices, stock prices, gold, crypto & other investments.
(iii)Socially—the people of the western world this century have become obsessed with "seeking money". Money is the new god of western society. This phenomenon has been made stronger by the "cost of living crisis" & the NEED for money by people around the world to simply live & survive as individuals & families.
People as a result have become more selfish & self interested.
Dishonest conduct & corruption & crime has increased “across the board”.
B. What happens from here: -
I believe we will soon have to decide how we want to live in the future!
America today represents, supports and stands for a capitalist society which needs and wants greater amounts of money, more consumption of more & more goods & services to continue to survive & develop via the creation & roll out of a " robotic & Al technological world" with little or insufficient regulation.
This will provide increased wealth to the "tech savvy and wealthy class" (a very small percentage of the total world population).
It will also increase the social divide between rich & poor.
This world (like the past worlds) is full of competition & conflict.
Hence the political division today between extreme left & right policy in most countries around the world today are both controlled by a small group of very wealthy persons who seek political power.
The alternative will be to live in a world with competition( somewhat more limited) but most importantly with geo political consensus & not conflict & governments whose make up (whether it be political parties or individuals) make decisions based on the Plato "public good" & not on personal benefits for a small minority group of wealthy persons or policy which is more personal to a few and does not represent the majority middle of the road view. Decisions are made simply with the believe that a majority of the general public can be influenced to think their way with media support. How sad!
Today I believe the vast majority of persons do not want conflict & war. They want consensus & acceptance of different political systems, race, colour, religion & basic economic & social equality of human rights around the world.
Today we run the real risk this century of creating & rolling out Al when we still have conflict in the world. Such is a real risk to civilisation as we know it today.
The alternative is for world leaders to understand "what is around the corner" & seek to better understand different political systems in different countries.
The first step in this direction is to improve the strength & structure of the United Nations .Abolish the Security Council. Merge the various financial entities & establish a world currency which benefits all peoples of the world & not just a few privileged persons. Provide the United Nations with its own army, navy & Airforce (not NATO) with the objective of using such resources to assist persons around the world in emergency situations.
Fundamental to the new constitution of a reinvigorated United Nations is an acknowledgement by every member country in the world of its territorial sovereignty.
Any dispute between two or more countries is resolved solely by the United Nations (by negotiation & the International Court of Justice).
All political systems, race, color, religion & basic social & economic equality of human rights is acknowledged by each & every country in the world to be paramount in every United Nations decision made.
All Foreign Aid would be centralised & monitored & moved through the United Nations with the support of its army, navy and air force and various private aid organizations would all work under the direction of the United Nations.
It is a 40 year plan in the making. But it is essential for the good health & well being of the people of the world that it be developed now.
Climate change & AI & other tech. inventions could be destructive to much of mankind if we continue to live through this century with conflict & not consensus. With consensus economic growth will be lower & life simpler in the wealthy countries while money is transferred by wealthy countries to less developed countries to improve the education of their children & provide a better quality of life for the bottom 50% of people who live in the world today.
In the end we will have "consensus" & at such time we can "together" work hand in hand with Al & all sorts of tech development to improve the quality of life for everyone in the world. If not there is likely to be social, economic & political issues on planet earth this century. The winners in the "tech race" could obliterate the losers if there is continued conflict. The poor could starve to death. There could be widespread anarchy, political instability & economics controlled & run by a privileged few for self survival & sole benefit.
A VOTE FOR ME IS A VOTE FOR WORLD ‘’CONSENSUS’’AND NOT CONFLICT AND WAR.
